Underplane

Underplane transforms the experience of tracking aircraft overhead into an interactive game suitable for aviation enthusiasts and casual observers alike. Instead of simply viewing flight data on a map, users are encouraged to go outdoors and actively participate by racing to the right spot to catch planes as they pass directly overhead. The app calculates your optimal standing position and provides a countdown, making it easy for anyone to enjoy plane spotting without prior aviation knowledge. Its gamified approach adds a fun, physical element to what is typically a passive activity, appealing to families, travelers, students, and plane spotters seeking a more engaging experience. By turning the skies into a playground, Underplane offers a fresh take on travel and outdoor recreation, blending technology with real-world exploration.
